Introduction

DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid) is a gene which transfers genetic information.
DNA in food is degraded into a nucleotide form, and then synthesized into DNA again. Therefore, DNA is considered as an important nutrient for our body, and it is called the 7th essential nutrient.
DNA is used not only for health food supplement, but also for cosmetics and pharmaceutical products.

Product concept

Maruha Nichiro's DNA is purified from high quality natural salmon milt(Oncorhynchus keta).
The salmon used for our DNA is the most eaten species in Japan. Its salmon milt has been also eaten for more than 800 years. When wild bears catch salmon, they eat salmon roe/ milt first, which is because they know salmon roe/milt is rich in nutrient.

    More than 30% can be dissolved in neutral solution, but it becomes gel at temperature below 50℃ or at pH below 3.
    It becomes stable when mixed with basic organic substances, such as arginine (patent).
    DNA-Na (L)】Suitable for beverage
    More than 30% can be dissolved in neutral to mild acidity solution, and it does not become gel even at temperature below 50. It becomes stable when mixed with basic organic substances, such as arginine (patent).

    Suitable for health food, as tablet, capsule, sachet, etc.
    Suitable for ordinary food, such as beverage.
    As a beauty ingredient, the combination with Hyaluro-Pure (Hyaluronic acid), HCP(Hyaluronic acid), or Fish Collagen peptide is recommended.
